About
A Senegalese company, a Senegalese network.
Mobelec was founded in Dakar in 2022 to move urban two-wheelers to electric. Not just by selling bikes: by installing the energy, the workshop and the parts that have to come with them.
International partner
The bikes in the range, the ETROL battery and the swap stations are developed with BNC, our international manufacturing partner.
Selling an electric bike without a network is selling a promise.
Mobelec is a Senegalese electric-mobility company. Our job is to make urban transport sustainable, affordable and dependable — for individuals and for businesses.
We started with the hard part: infrastructure. A battery-swap station live at the showroom, a spare-parts stock in Dakar, a technical team trained locally. Without that, an electric bike that breaks stays broken.
The team is local, the supplier is international, and every model is selected and then tested against Senegalese conditions: heat, dust, broken roads, rainy season.
Next comes the region. After Dakar: Thiès, Saint-Louis, Ziguinchor, then West Africa.

We're not building this alone.
An international supplier for the vehicles, financial institutions for the financing, landowners and retailers for the stations. Every station, every fleet and every financing plan runs through a partner.
03 · Investors
Why invest in Mobelec.
A market that is switching
The two-wheeler is Senegal's working vehicle. The switch to electric happens faster and pays back sooner there than on cars.
Recurring revenue under the sale
Battery swapping turns a one-off sale into per-use revenue, station after station.
A mapped expansion
Dakar first, then Thiès, Saint-Louis and Ziguinchor, with the same station model.
-
Distribution
Become an authorised distributor: preferential pricing, technical training, local marketing support.
-
Charging infrastructure
Invest in the station network, or host one on your land or retail site.
-
Fleet electrification
Finance the switch of a delivery fleet to electric, on lease or long-term rental.
-
Co-branding
Put your brand on the network: liveried fleets, activations, event sponsorship.
